We are seeking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our branch in Durban!

The Warehouse Supervisor is a supervisory role that oversees other employees and ensures smooth running of floor maintenance department, along with various duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to the following:


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate activities and manage staff as per roster.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Managing and reporting workplace incidents and safety breaches.
  • Manage the quality of work completed by maintenance staff within the warehouse.
  • Ensure proper cleaning and tagging of price cards. Ensuring all cars are accurately described.
  • Ensure that all inspections and repairs comply with local, state and federal regulations, as well as the branch’s policies and procedures.
  • Communicate inspection findings and repair recommendations to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Supervision of floor maintenance staff, warehouse drivers, key room, and photobooth.
  • Control and monitoring of all inbound processes, such as rejects and inspections.
  • Management of 3rd party logistics, including TAC and deinstallation of tracking units.
  • Close monitoring and enforcement of company policies related to fuel requirements across departments.
  • Ensure vehicle cleanliness on the sales floor, as well as prompt response to any spills to maintain overall neatness.
  • Direct reporting to the Operations Manager.

Requirements:

  • Matric
  • Valid Driving license
  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar position
  • Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Maintenance or Operational Management (Advantageous)
